It appears I haven't posted in just over a year... AN ENTIRE YEAR! That's pretty bad. But a good friend of mine is a pretty avid blogger and has recently motivated me to get "off my ass" and sit my ass down (yes, that seems backwards) at the computer and start blogging again. This friend's name is Teena and her blog is BerryFaveThings.blogspot.com. Please be sure to check out and follow her blog. She's got plenty of great stories and advice to share.
Now... let's see if I can figure out a semi short way to explain what I've done in the past year photowise. Lifewise let's just go with... lots of big changes and life challenges blah blah blah not as fun/entertaining since there isn't too many photos of all that. OKAY time for the fun stuff and just to make this easy on myself right now, I'll post photos with their event and a brief description under them. Starting with...

MSU Racing's 3rd annual car show. Great show and seems to be coming together really well each year! Keep it up guys!
Random "Scoot and Shoot" with my good friend Mike and his MK6 "Golf-TI". Cool car but wait till you see his latest VW project!
AutoRama, Detroit. Never have I seen so much muscle in one place till I moved to Michigan.
Sno Drift '13. This was my first official event as a team photographer with Noble Star Rally. Also my first time being able to score an official media pass! Thank you Alex Wong of Emotive-Image for the hook up.
Motorstadt X. Remember Mike and the Golf-TI? That rolling shot is him in his '88 VW Cabby. The second shot is the MK5 section at the show. Another family fun car show! Even the "Other" section is growing! It's always nice to see car guys of all kinds coming out and showing their support for other groups/crew/friends/family.
Rally America - STPR. My 2nd event shooting for Noble Star Rally. Here we have teammate Brian Macnamara with co-driver Amber Stacy in the bright green Subaru. Next we have team leader Amanda Skelly and co-driver Derrick Rudisel in their black Subaru. "Getting Awesome Together" is our motto and I have to say it's pretty accurate. Every event with this team is a blast!
East Coast Bash, English Town, NJ. Last minute change in plans. A photographer friend of mine, Eric Delaney, and myself were supposed to head to two car shows in one weekend. One in Holland, MI the next in Chicago, IL. THEN we remembered ECB was the same weekend and decided to drive 10 hours to Jersey instead for some fun time drifting. Very much worth it! I haven't been to a drift event in years!
SCCA, Marshall, MI RallyCross. This event was only about an hour away and I wanted to get some shooting practice in. SO This is where I found myself one Saturday. Also decided to start playing with Photoshop a little more. Starting to discover great new useful things. Editing can be magical.
Photowise this is all I've been up to. The next event is Rally America - New England Forest Rally. My original intentions were to shoot this rally until a friend finished his rally car and needed a co-driver. This is where the camera was placed aside and the helmet was brought out. There's plenty to share there so that will have to be a whole other blog on its own.
SO... give me another couple days to get my stuff together and back in this blogging groove and I shall return with tales of co-driving, breaking fixing and breaking a rally car, adventure and love.
And as per the usual, please remember to check out my work that can be found at the link on the bumper of this lime green civic rally car. This is where you will find albums for each of the events I listed above, enjoy.
